# Installation ## Requirements Before installing **Enums for PHP**, you need to make sure you have [PHP](https://secure.php.net) and [Composer](https://getcomposer.org), the PHP package manager, up and running. !!! warning Enums for PHP requires PHP >= **7.2.0**.
